Take a photo of a hand-me-down.
The image Laurel included with this post reminded me that there are a couple more hand-me-downs in the kitchen. While the The New Settlement Cook Book doesn't see much (if any) use, I do love the logo on the frontispiece. Coincidentally, also with a 1954 publication date is the instruction booklet that goes with the waffle baker/grill inherited from D's grandmother.

D has inherited a few things in his lifetime. Shortly after graduating from college his mom got a new KitchenAid mixer and he got the old one. While it's still useful today, the same can't be said for the Dual 8" Floppy Disk Drives he got from his brother that are strangely still in his possession (an assortment of curious objects called "floppy disks" are shown on top of the case, which measures 17.5"W x 19.5"D x 5.5"H, weighs at least 25 pounds, and sounds like a jet engine when it's on).
