Here are a few shots from last night's lunar eclipse. There was slight cloud cover, so they're a little fuzzy.

Pretty! What kind of camera do you use?

Thanks all. The camera's a Nikon 8800 with a telephoto extender, which give it a zoom of almost 600mm. The camera produces some good results for a high-end "point and shoot", but has drawbacks like poor manual focus so once the eclipse entered totality the camera could no longer focus on the moon.

I've actually had the banner for a while. It's a composite of pictures taken from September/October 2006. Here's the collection.
